One search sends your next client to another firm.
$300, and I build the page that answers it, on your own domain and under your firm’s name.
For US law firms in employment law, IP and patent, commercial litigation, and corporate and M&A.
Say you litigate non-compete cases every month, and your site has no page on whether those agreements hold up in your state. Somebody searching that question finds a competitor instead of you.
First I check, at no cost, whether your firm has a search like that. Often there isn’t one, and then there’s nothing to sell you. The check is free and there’s no call attached to it.
What you get
One new page, written for one search term that sends work to other firms and that your firm has not covered.
It carries your firm’s name, not mine. I build it to match a page you already have. Your header, hero, content column and form all look like your own site, because that’s where it will live.
You also get a side by side against the page that ranks for that term today. It sets out, line by line, why mine is built differently. You can judge that yourself before you publish anything.
You get a private preview link, plus a written install guide for your own setup, addressed to whoever updates your site now.
How much work that is depends on what your site runs on and who controls it. On some setups it’s quick. On others your web person will need to do it. I write the guide for the setup you actually have.
Before it reaches you, it has to pass a first-screen test. Someone is shown only the top of the page, on a phone and on a desktop. They have to be able to say who your firm is, what’s in it for them, and how to get it. Every line is graded against the same written standard every page I build is graded against, and every fact traces to a saved source.
Nothing is published anywhere until you have read it and approved it.
What this depends on
Your clients don’t go to ChatGPT to pick a lawyer. Agreed, and I wouldn’t sell you anything that rested on it.
This rests on something duller. Somebody refers you, the buyer looks you up before calling, and a firm that has covered the question gets found instead of you.
What has to be true first
Most vendors leave this part out. The Source Fix only works when there’s a term worth fixing, and often there isn’t one.
Five conditions have to hold before I’ll sell you a page:
- Your firm has no page targeting that term already. If you have one, it’s out of scope, however weak it looks.
- The term has real search demand, measured, not guessed.
- Another firm’s page ranks for it, and I can show you why that page is beatable.
- No government site or court site holds the top 2 positions, because you will not outrank those.
- The term is worth at least 10 times the fee a year, priced at what advertisers pay Google for those clicks.
If nothing clears that bar, I’ll tell you so and you keep your money. That’s why this starts with a free check and not a payment button.
Condition 1 is the one that rules most terms out, and it’s deliberate. I’m not rewriting a page you already have. I only build where you have nothing.
Why the ranking matters at all. On 817 searches that carried a Google AI Overview, a page ranked below 15 was cited 0 times out of 346.
Source: CitedCounsel measurement, 817 queries on sproutworth.com, US desktop, 27 August 2026.
Read that narrowly. It covers Google AI Overviews, on one site, outside legal. A top 15 rank is necessary there. It is not sufficient, and nobody can guarantee a citation on any engine. I’ll send the query list and the raw rows to any firm that asks, so you can check the number yourself.
How it runs
- You request the free check. I measure where your firm sits on searches for your practice in your market.
- The report names the one term worth fixing, or it tells you there isn’t one.
- You pay $300. That’s your go-ahead.
- You get a private preview link. You read it, change what you want, and approve it.
- You publish it on your own site. I check where it ranks at day 7 and again at day 30, and I tell you either way, including when it has not moved.
What it costs
One price, paid once.
The Source Fix
One page, on your domain, owned by you
Paid once. Nothing renews, and there’s no minimum term to get out of.
- I’ll send your private preview within 48 hours of your go-ahead.
- Your payment is the go-ahead, so the clock starts when it lands.
What I do not do
I never get access to your website, and I never ask for it. Whoever runs your site makes the change, not me.
I keep nothing. The page, the copy and the research are yours the moment you have them.
Nobody can guarantee an AI citation, and nobody can guarantee a ranking. What I guarantee is the work: the page gets built, on your brand, and it reaches you inside the window above.
The competitor’s page covering that term is already published and already indexed. That doesn’t change while you decide, which is the only reason to act I’ll give you.
Questions firms ask
Who am I dealing with?
Vinay Koshy. I run CitedCounsel on my own, so you deal with me and not an account manager.
Have you done this before?
Straight answer: not under these rules. I built one page under an earlier version of this offer and it was never published. The rule that it has to target a term your firm doesn’t already cover came later, so you would be the first. This is a new service and I’m not going to dress it up. It’s part of why the check is free and why the fee is what it is.
Does this clear our state’s advertising rules?
Every page is screened against the advertising rules in your state before you see it. You approve it before anything goes public, and you publish it yourself, so nothing carries your firm’s name without your sign-off.
Did you use AI to write this?
The measurement is automated. The writing is AI-assisted and I read every word before it reaches you. Nothing goes to a firm unreviewed.
Is there a guarantee?
Nobody can guarantee an AI citation, because AI answers rotate month to month on pages nobody has touched. What I guarantee is that the work ships.
We already pay for Chambers and Super Lawyers and it does nothing.
Those are annual editorial cycles and paid placements. A profile can be corrected. A ranking cannot be bought or accelerated, by me or by anyone else. What I sell is one page, on your own domain, that you own outright.
What if we want the ongoing work?
There’s a monthly retainer at $6,500 for firms that want the whole thing run for them. If you take it, the $300 comes off your first month in full. It is month to month.
Who else sees the page?
Nobody. The preview sits at an unguessable link that search engines are told to ignore, and I never post it or link to it. You decide if and when it goes public.
See where your firm ranks.
I need two things: your firm’s name, and the city and state you practice in.
You get a written answer either way, naming the one term worth fixing or naming none. The check is free and there’s no call attached to it.
